L'art pour L'art

L'art pour L'art

Originally L’art pour L’art was a phrase that expresses the philosophy that 'true' art is utterly independent of any and all social values and utilitarian function, be that didactic, moral, or political. Such works are sometimes described as autotelic (from Greek: autoteles, 'complete in itself'), a concept that has been expanded to embrace "inner-directed" or "self-motivated" human beings. Here in my latest collection, it stands for that on type of art(ist) is collaborating, supporting the other art(ist).

Arts and artistic aesthetic has been always part of my life in many aspects, such as music, poems, drawing and being creative in the daily life. It’s blooming now in its fullest in my clothing creations, where my fantasy can freely fly.
L’art pour L’art is my latest collection, where I will introduce 5 amazing contemporary artists, where I’m going to use their arts to finalize my clothes. I would like to thank in advance for their extreme enthusiasm, so this could come alive. Every two-week one person will be introduced for the audience.

The first person I know since secondary school and his journey is just so touching and how he reflects on inner and outer impacts are very close to my heart. So now let me introduce: Bennio E. Walder:

"Since 2014, I've moved 30 times across four countries—Hungary, Germany, Austria, and for the past eight years, I've been living in Switzerland. As a teenager, I drew with carbon and pencil and enjoyed creating sculptures. My artistic idols include Gustav Klimt, Edouard Manet, Leonardo da Vinci, and Vincent van Gogh. I specialize in creating impactful art using acrylic colors on both canvas and acrylic paper. Since 2019 I have been part of more than 10 exhibitions in Zürich, solo shows and group-exhibitions too and have partaken 3 different online-shows as well. Despite partial colorblindness, I embrace every shade of dark blue, crafting pieces that resonate deeply. My journey through addiction to sobriety fuels my mission: to inspire and motivate others, particularly the younger generation, to overcome harmful habits through the transformative power of art."
