Continued with industrial scenes

Two weeks has gone by and as promised, let me introduce you now the second artist. Floating away from the wonderful abstracts created by Bennio E. Walder we step into now the heavy, rosty industrial conception. These city scenes got alive on canvas through the expressionist Eles Bulcsu contemporary artist. Please enjoy his beautiful artworks now on extra high-quality T-shirts, exclusivly by Trisz Design.

The person himself: Éles Bulcsú
An artist from Debrecen (Hungary), born in 1983. Principally he creates painting and graphics, however he does event-arts and installations too. During college and shortly after, his main focus was on abtract creations, after that he started to paint street scenes, horses and nude. He also does silkscreen and lino-cut works.
A large and diverse series started in 2014. At first, his works were based on visuals, later he gradually broke away from these scenes, only to return to them from time to time. His initial images were basically street scenes, or their details: fences (more or less dilapidated), broken windows, jumbled garden elements, wall cracks - these are the basis for his own images. In addition, with the experience gained during the work and the developed perspective, visually independent works were also created, which fit well into this sequence. Technically, these pictures are on the border between graphics and painting: they were made with ink, stain, watercolor and tempera, by mixing them, representing a kind of expressive constructivism.
After 2018, painting gradually came forefront, but as a direct continuation of the "painting" graphics. These images are characterized by experimentation with the image-building possibilities on the surface: next to the glaze and the thick layer of paint, worked with gestural brushstroke and hard edges, the painter's knife, the mixing of colors on the canvas and the incorporation of new materials are lined up. All this in such a way that a picture speaks about something beyond itself, conveys a specific idea. It raises questions and responds to contemporary social, religious, and historical occurrence- if not by giving answers, at least by drawing attention, perhaps by taking a position or expressing an opinion.
